Kilchoman Distillery was founded in 2005 by Anthony Wills, a visionary entrepreneur determined to establish Islay's first new distillery in over 120 years. Wills identified the remote Rhinns of Islay as the perfect location, acquiring land with views of the Atlantic Ocean and building a state-of-the-art facility designed to honour traditional distilling methods while incorporating modern innovations.
