Our story

The story of Jura Distillery begins in 1810 when the first legal distillery was established on this remote Scottish island, capturing the entrepreneurial spirit of the era. The original distillery operated successfully for decades, but by the mid-20th century, it had ceased production. In 1963, a new distillery was built on the island, reviving the tradition and creating the modern Jura we know today.
